Author Talks: Kathryn Stockett

Kathryn Stockett’s "The Help" shares the story of three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town and changes the way women--mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends--view one another. The Help is Stockett’s first novel and is being made into a major motion picture from Dreamworks Studios. Stockett will take the stage at a Chase Auditorium, Friday, May 6, at 7 p.m. Tickets for this event will include a copy of "The Help" in paperback and are priced at $20.
