Austin's No-Kill Anniversary Presented by Austin Pets Alive!
Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM (CST)
You are cordially invited to join Austin Pets Alive! in celebrating the three year anniversary of Austin being a No-Kill city. Enjoy a vibrant cocktail party with live music, drinks and appetizers in the company of fellow Austinites and No-Kill supporters.
Honorary Chairs are Texas State Representative Eddie Rodriguez and Austin City Council Members Mike Martinez and Laura Morrison.
Honorees are Castor & Pollux, Ryan Clinton and Larry Tucker.
Master of Ceremonies for the evening is radio talk show host, Ed Clements.
Entertainment will be provided by DJ Max from Groovelabs and the Jitterbug Vipers! Le Photo Booth will also be set up for your enjoyment.
Dress code is Austin Chic. ID's will be checked at the door. All attendees under the age of 21 will not receive a drink ticket. Please allow time for parking (street and garage parking free on Sundays downtown), there will not be valet or coat check.
There will be special guests from Austin Pets Alive! soaking up the spotlight so we ask that you please leave your furry family members at home.
No-Kill is a journey - not a destination - and we must continue to work as a community to save our four-legged friends. One hundred percent of ticket sales and donations go to Austin Pets Alive!, a 501(c)3 organization focused on saving the lives of those animals at risk of euthanasia. APA! has saved over 20,000 animals from euthanasia, and has been a key player in making Austin a No-Kill city.
We look forward to many years of No-Kill to come, but need your support to make it happen.
