Andrew Romans is the co-founder and General Partner of Georgetown Angels, a VC fund and premier angel group. GA invests in later stage seed and series A & B venture capital financing rounds of high potential early stage disruptive technology companies. GA operates as a venture capital fund as well as provides a sidecar mechanism for its angels, family offices and other LPs to invest, on a deal by deal basis, into each startup. Romans is also the author of The Entrepreneurial Bible To Venture Capital: Inside Secrets from the Leaders in the Startup Game. The Huffington Post calls Romans' book, "the most important book to be written for entrepreneurs since the Eric Ries classic The Lean Startup." HuffPost book review

Romans also buys equity from founders, early employees and investors of later stage technology companies. Previously Romans founded The Founders Club, a Silicon Valley based venture capital equity exchange fund and buyer of direct secondaries. Romans was previously a managing partner at Georgetown Venture Partners (GVP), managing director of Sentito Networks (acquired Verso) and founder & president of The Global TeleExchange (The GTX), where he personally raised $47m in VC funding. Fluent in English, French and German, conversant in Czech and Slovak, Romans completed a BA at the University of Vermont (exchange program at Duke University, Freie Universität Berlin & Humboldt Universität zu Berlin) and an MBA in finance at Georgetown University, which he completed on scholarship.
