Austin Vectorworks User Group Meeting
Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM (CDT)
Join the Austin Vectorworks User Group's next meeting:
Date: Tuesday, June 11
Time: 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Location: Custom Creation, 1045 Reinli Street, Austin TX
Topic: USING NURBS IN VECTORWORKS SOFTWARE
Francois has been working on modeling spacecrafts for a NASA proposal, and as a result has used a fair amount of NURBS modeling (Non-Uniform Rational Bézier Splines). This month, Francois will share some of his work in progress, demonstrate some capabilities of Vectorworks NURBS modeling, with a few tips on lighting and rendering thrown in. While this won't be an exhaustive tutorial on NURBS, you may get a few ideas of how you might use them for your own terrestrial Vectorworks projects.
As always, we'll have opportunities for networking, war stories, and Q+A.
