ACUG Monthly Meeting - Dell vCloud Introduction ... with Demos!

Come join us for the next Austin Cloud User Group meeting.  If you are interested in cloud computing, and somewhat close to Austin, this is the group for you!  All are welcome. The ACUG meeting will be May 15, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pervasive Software.

6:30-8:00 Dell vCloud introduction and demo, by Stephen Spector

Dell will demo vCloud by showing off GreenButton's configuration, a NZ based company

The Greenbutton platform runs on the Dell IaaS cloud and allows GreenButton's ISVs to embed their "button" into their solution to take a compute intensive process and push it out to the cloud. GreenButton was founded by the digital team that did the Lord of the Rings movie and have been working with pixar and others.
