Event Details

Healthcare facilities may be considered behemoths when it comes to energy consumption. They are reportedly second only to manufacturing buildings in energy intensity and are very costly to operate. Building professionals and the LEED for Healthcare rating system have helped to address energy efficiency in healthcare while simultaneously creating environments that promote well-being for its occupants.  Please join GreenHomeNYC for our August forum as we discuss the importance of sustainable healthcare design with building experts and what design strategies they have employed to help create green healthcare buildings.

This forum is free and open to the public.  AIA credit available.

Date: Wednesday, August 15, 2012

Time: 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Place: Hafele Showroom at 25 East 26th Street, NYC, NY 10010 off Madison Ave.

Our speakers will include:
