Audience Matters

changing the way you think about arts and culture participation.

Technological advancements. Demographic changes. Generational shifts. The world has changed dramatically, presenting new challenges and opportunities for arts and culture sector advancement. Together, we’ll explore how the arts and culture field can respond to the demands of this ever-changing environment. We’ll hear from arts and culture leaders who are formulating and testing new audience engagement strategies and rethinking their audience relationships. And, we’ll have a robust dialogue about storytelling and how it can capture attention, engage an audience and motivate them to act.

Featuring presentations by:

  • Renee Baldocchi, Director of Public Programs, De Young Museum of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco
  • Richard Evans, President, EmcArts, Inc. and founder of the Innovation Lab for the Performing Arts,
  • Andy Goodman, nationally recognized author, speaker and consultant in the field of public interest communications
  • Sarah Lutman, President and Managing Director, The St. Paul Chamber Orchestra
  • Charlie Miller, Resident Multimedia Specialist, Denver Center Theatre Company

Please note: Lunch is not included, but a break will be provided.
