Wind Energy Update: Google has pledged $5 billion for an ambitious offshore wind energy plan to deliver renewable power to the Middle Atlantic States and the Atlantic coast is estimated to have a wind energy capacity of 100,000MW, equivalent to many Indian Point nuclear power plants.
