Atlanta SPIN Agile Workshop
Hosted by Atlanta SPIN and Southern Polytechnic State University
Lead by Matt Badgley
Atlanta SPIN and SPSU will host an all day workshop dedicated to providing continued education to Atlanta's IT professionals.
The workshop consists of group activities for both newly formed and already established agile teams. These activities are designed to accomplish the following:
- Serve as ice breakers to introduce team members to each other and improve team chemistry. These activites with create synergy among team members as well as improve communication and the ability to work together effectively.
- Accomplish goals in line with the agile manifesto and complete some phases of the software development life cycle (i.e. requirements gathering). This allows teams to become comfortable with the agile process, learn new ways of working together and become more efficient.
At the end of this event, participants will have a better understanding of the agile process. More importantly, attendees will have the ability to lead these activities and apply the learned techniques within their own organization.
Admission for the one-day program $75 which includes lunch and refreshments throughout the day. The class will run from 10AM to 5PM with a break for lunch. Please print and bring the paper ticket to the registration on the morning of the workshop.
