This lantern workshop is hosted by Chantelle Rytter and the Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons for the 5th Atlanta BeltLine Lantern Parade on September 6, 2014! Hold up a light for the BeltLine! Your participation is what makes the magic! More Lantern Parade info and the complete Lantern Workshop Series schedule Here.
If you like to build things, you will love this stuff! We are using flat bamboo and tape. It is all friendly and bendy. You get twelve 4’ pieces of flat bamboo and a 5’ pole to make anything you’d like. We will cover the forms with plastic wrap and apply paper. These lanterns can take every bit of three hours and you might still finish at home. These are best for ages 8 and up. Space is limited to 18. All materials, light, and batteries included.
