The Atlanta Aliens will hold minor league basketball tryouts in Atlanta GA on June 29, 2013. This event will challenge semi-pro ABA & NBA D-League hopefuls, via full-court scrimmages and player evaluations, to showcase their skills for ABA, NBA Development League and International player personnel executives, coaches and scouts.

Tryouts for Atlanta's new Minor League Basketball Team, Atlanta Aliens, are taking place on June 29, 2013 at Grant Park Recreation Center. The Atlanta Aliens are an American minor league basketball organization based out of Norcross, Georgia (Gwinnett County). The Atlanta Aliens play in the Atlantic South Division of the Eastern Conference in the American Basketball Association (ABA) among other certified leagues, invitational tournaments, celebrity matches and charitable events.

When and where are the Tryouts taking place?

Who can try out?

· Any eligible person age 18 or older (on the day of the Tryout, June 29, 2013), as long as either (i) you have graduated high school, or (ii) the class you would have graduated with has graduated.

Are there any costs?

· Yes, the cost is $75* per person for early registration and $150 thereafter. Payment must be made online. You can pay via credit, debit, pre-paid, Paypal or money pak cards online at www.AtlantaAliens.net (all credit, debit, pre-paid, Paypal or money pak cards will incur an additional $3 processing fee in addition to the $75* participant fee.) All payments are non-refundable.

What does my registration fee include?

· Registration fee includes an opportunity to participate in a minimum of two games and be seen by official ABA, NBA D-League and International executives, coaches, and scouts.

How can I sign up?

· Please visit www.AtlantaAliens.net to register. Space is limited to the first 50 registrants, so sign up early.

Can I register on the day of the Tryouts?

· Yes, all players registering after early registration will be charged $150. Players looking to register on the day of the tryouts will be charged $250. Space is limited to the first 50 registrants, so sign up early.

What is the format of the Tryouts?

· Each player will be assigned to a team consisting of other players participating in the Tryout and will play a minimum of two (2) games during the course of the day. Team assignments and the schedule will be provided on-site. The focus of the Atlanta Aliens Tryout is on game play workouts in addition to skill drills.

Will there be scouts there?

· Yes, ABA scouts, International scouts and NBA D-League scouts will be in attendance.

Do I need to stay all day?

· Once you have completed your second game and your coach has addressed your team, you are free to leave. We recommend that you stay in the gym between games to meet with your coach and teammates.

What happens after the Tryouts?

· The Atlanta Aliens Basketball Operations group will notify you by phone if you have been selected to receive a player contract.

Will food be provided?

· No, the Atlanta Aliens will not provide food, and food is not available inside the facility. It is recommended you bring your own lunch and snacks for the day.

What can I bring into the facility? Do I need to bring my own towel, water, etc?

· Please bring anything you may need to play two games and participate in evaluations (i.e. towels, sneakers, ankle braces, extra socks, energy bars, etc.)

Do I need an agent to participate?

· No. You do not need an agent to participate.

What happens if I sign up and cannot attend? Will my money be refunded?

· There are no refunds for anyone who signed up and cannot attend the Tryout.

Will I be reimbursed for any travel costs?

· The Atlanta Aliens will not provide reimbursement for any travel costs.

What do I need to bring to check-in? Do I need to bring an ID?

· Yes, you must bring a valid photo ID, a copy of your paid confirmation and a signed waiver form at check-in. You can print the form from our website: www.AtlantaAliens.net

Do I need to sign a waiver?

· Yes, all participants are required to sign a waiver. You can print the waiver at www.AtlantaAliens.net and bring it with you to the Tryout.

Will there be any transportation to and from the event?

· The Atlanta Aliens will not provide any transportation for participants.

Will the Atlanta Aliens provide a hotel if necessary?

· No. The Atlanta Aliens will not provide or arrange any hotel accommodations.
