Do We Have the Structure & Ingredients to Be Successful? Assessing Your Board of Directors
Presented by Susan Weinrich, Vice President of Organizational Development Services, NYCON
Your organization is constantly challenged to “Do more with less” and even “Do better with less.”
As a board or staff leader of a nonprofit organization, of course you want to meet that challenge. You know that nonprofits are businesses that are governed by well-meaning board members. We know that their performance as a group can be assessed and then improved in order to better deliver services in the community and maximize opportunities.
This workshop will help you assess whether you’ve got the talent and resources on your board of directors to get to where you want to go with your nonprofit. If you have key "skillsets & mindsets," we’ll help you to harness them to their fullest capacity. If you don’t have the right ingredients on board, we’ll give you tips on how to get them.
