The Next Step in Fashion

New technology and business models both are changing the fashion industry, creating daunting new obstacles and as-of-before unimagined opportunities. What does the future hold for fashion and a world of connected devices? What are the new paradigms and new technologies? This day-long conference will explore the challenges currently being faced by the fashion industry and celebrate the creative methods being used to overcome them.

For many brands, the internet has meant more headache than opportunity. They have indulged it only begrudgingly, seeing it as a channel ripe for brand degradation, counterfeit sales, and spitting out price sensitive users. We are seeing a shift, albeit a slow one, from pessimism to optimism as innovators prove that the internet can build upon the offline retail experience and enhance the brand experience. We are starting to see a shift from electronic commerce to experiential commerce.
