About the Seminar
This seminar, presented by Michael L. Wroniak, Esq. and Christian E. Bredeson, Esq. from Collins Collins Muir and Stewart, LLP, will explore the role and involvement that the law will play in the daily life of a registered engineer in California. From negotiating the contract to the final punch list, this seminar will look at what all engineers need to know in order to successfully navigate the risks that are inherent in the design and construction of every project, whether it is commercial, residential, or public works.
This interactive seminar will discuss the basics of engineering contracts, the multitude of legal pitfalls within the design process as well as during construction administration, and will address how you can improve your chances of avoiding lawsuits as you progress through your career.
Mr. Wroniak and Mr. Bredeson both work out of their firm's Orange County office and their practice primarily consists of defending architects, engineers and other construction professionals in lawsuits as well as provide consultation to design professional clients related to risk management and contract negotiations.
