Share Arthritis Foundation Fundraiser at Flying Buddha Fitness

Event Details

Join the Arthritis Foundation and Flying Buddha Fitness for a fundraiser to help cure arthritis!  Come at Noon for our Jingle Bell Run/Walk kickoff and JA Fun Day!  Then stick around and choose from which session you'd like to attend (or several sessions)!  All proceeds will benefit the Arthritis Foundation.  Classes are only $15 per session.  There is a limit per class so sign up today!

1:00 pm - Spin (limit of 10)

2:00 pm -  Aerial Restorative (limit of 12)

3:00 pm - Hatha and Vinyasa Flow (limit of 12)

4:00 pm - Pilates (limit of 12)

5:00 pm - Aerial Yoga Basics (limit of 14)

All classes are designed for beginner and intermediate students, bodies that are healing and for those of you who just want to meet new people and do it for the cause.  

Class Descriptions:

Spinning classes can be a great way to get in a vigorous workout — burning calories and keeping your muscles in shape.

Aerial restorative – We lower the hammock almost to the ground.  This is good for seniors or almost anyone going through therapy.  Helps strengthen, stretch and repair your entire body from most injuries.

Hatha Yoga tones, strengthens and stretches the body, focusing on conscious breathing while in the postures. Vinyasa Yoga is a flowing, dynamic form of yoga, connecting and coordinating asana movement with breath inhalation and exhalation.

Pilates mat classes center around the floor work developed by Joseph H. Pilates, and range from beginner to advanced exercises.  Using the body’s own resistance,  a series of movements are are performed designed to improve circulation, breathing, posture and body awareness.  

Aerial Yoga Basics on the Hammock!  This class will offer introductory teachings on how to safely practice Aerial Yoga as a beginner.  Even if you have been practicing yoga on the floor for years, it’s a whole new world when you practice off the ground!  Learn how to balance, swing, traction your spine with gravity, and much more!  Appropriate for all levels of experience, fun for all!
