ARTCRANK NYC 2012 will feature hand-made, bike-inspired posters created by local artists. Limited edition, signed and numbered copies of all posters will be available for $40 each. Admission is free.
ARTCRANK NYC will be hosted by the SoHo location of Bicycle Habitat on Thursday, August 9, and we plan to put on bike poster party that does the Big Apple proud. In addition to limited-edition posters, we’ll be selling ARTCRANK glasses and filling them with craft beer by Widmer Brothers Brewing to benefit Streetsblog and Streetfilms.
These organizations that have covered and inspired the movement to transform New York and other cities into better places to live, work and play. They work tirelessly to promote policies and practices that re-orient city streets toward walking, biking, transit, and lively public space. Thanks to our friends at Neenah Paper, we’ll also be selling posters featuring the design above, with all sales going to benefit Streetsblog and Streetfilms.
