TLC, in collaboration with MHAMT and TSPN, has arranged for Your Heart on Art to lead a session of its ART4HEALING® Program from 9 AM – 12 PM on Tuesday, July 9, at the Community Room within the Metro Nashville Police Department’s West Precinct, located at 5500 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. The session will be immediately followed by a staff luncheon.
The ART4HEALING® Program explores the processing of the powerful emotions associated with mental illness through painting. Participants receive basic instruction on color, composition, and other art elements as part of the session. They go through a series of colorful warm-up exercises that help them create a series of abstract paintings that help them tell their story.More information about the ART4HEALING® Program is available on the program informational flyer.
