Emerge! The Art Show supports local artists and children

Proceeds benefit Casa Pacifica and budding community artists

What:                 A trio of talented artists collaborated this winter to create a show-stopping series that will inspire you to emerge from whatever holds you back from following your dreams! The theme of the mixed media collection speaks to the struggles and triumphs of balancing our creative and grounded sides.

Most of the ready-to-hang wall pieces are fully collaborative works, featuring photography by Christine Stahr, painting by Ryan McGeary and woodwork by Jeff Carmi.

In support of local children in need, Emerge! The Art Show will donate half of all proceeds to Casa Pacifica in Camarillo.

About Casa Pacifica

Casa Pacifica is a 24-acre emergency shelter, school and community service organization based in Camarillo that serves abused and neglected children and adolescents from Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. Casa Pacifica provides a comprehensive array of state of the art services to meet the complex needs of over 4,000 of our most vulnerable children annually. Please visit www.casapacifica.org

About the Artists

Christine Stahr, photographer, studied Dance and Marine Science before her passions converged into the craft of photography. Stahr finds inspiration in promoting social causes she cares deeply for, and has a talent for combining technology, beauty and optimism to inspire others. She currently resides in Los Angeles, where she works fulltime as a fashion photographer and gallery contributor.

Ryan McGeary, painter, was raised in Ohio, where he constantly defaced school property with doodles on desks and textbooks. He then took the natural course to pursue a career in art and animation and now works as a character animator for Naughty Dog studios. He lives in Los Angeles, where he gains daily inspiration from music, astronomy and cosmology.

Jeff Carmi, woodworker, was born and raised in Southern California, where he found creative inspiration in the field of music. After obtaining a music degree in Philadelphia, he returned home to open a successful recording studio and pursue his passion in woodworking. Jeff finds inspiration in nature, and is an avid rock climber and mountaineer.
