Sunday September 23, 2012 from 11am to 5pm
Bring a picnic lunch! NO vendors, or items for sale in the Festival.
The Festival begins at Canyon Meadows, accessed from the Redwood Gate entrance, 2 miles east and downhill from the Redwood Road/ Skyline blvd. intersection. For the map click here!
The Redwood Regional Park parking lot ($5) is very limited and will fill up by the crew and volunteers early Sunday morning. For that reason this year there will be a shuttle bus running throughout the day from nearby Merritt College. Park there and begin your adventure early with an entertaining ten minute ride to the entrance of the festival. While we are planning to have enough capacity to handle the expected crowd, capacity is limited so we highly recommend to buy your ticket now!
Driving Directions to Shuttle:
12500 Campus Drive
Oakland, CA 9461
From 13 south, exit at Redwood Road and turn left, crossing over the freeway, curving around to the right and ascending a hill. The first stoplight halfway up the hill is Campus Drive. Turn right and go ½ mile to the Merritt College campus. Festival parking will be on the right in a reserved lot. The shuttle bus will stop at the main bus turnaround across the street.
Purchase Shuttle Tickets in Advance! The more we can measure demand, the more buses we can afford to run the day of the event.
While tickets will be available the day of the event, we cannot guarantee that we won’t sell out. Sales are being limited so that we have sufficient capacity to bring everyone back to their cars at the end of the event in a timely manner.
We are looking forward to creating and sharing the beauty of art with you!
