Hello dear, dear, Art House Orlando friends!
I’ve spent the last couple of months encouraging our community to explore new artistic endeavors and to invest in their creative lives. Well, now it’s my turn! I’m getting ready to start a new artistic project, and I can’t wait to tell you all about it! First, let me go back in time a little bit…
Some of you may know but many of you may not know that I recorded an album of all original music that was released in 2010 entitled “All These Things.” I was able to tour on and off with my good friend, Sara Groves, for a couple years following that release, as her background vocalist. She graciously let me introduce my music to her listeners during that time as well – such a gift!
So here we are now, in 2013, and in response to some encouragement from a few of my good friends at Northland Church, I’ve decided to introduce the Art House Orlando community to the songs on my first record by putting on a re-release show on April 19th! This concert will also debut some brand new songs that I’ve written over the last couple of years… which (here’s the MOST exciting part) will be on a BRAND NEW RECORD that I’m planning on recording in July!! The last year has been a very fruitful season of writing for me. The songs that have come from this season are written from a really honest place in my heart, and I can’t wait to share them with you!
So, please mark your calendars and join me on April 19th at the Rink (on the campus of Northland Church) – I would LOVE to see you there!
Now, go create something new!
