ART BASH! featuring Critique the Critics!
On May 4, 2013, Arlington Arts Center (AAC) and DC Magazine will present ART BASH featuring Critique the Critics, AAC’s annual fundraiser! VIP's arrive at 7pm for a champagne-infused pre-party to mingle with special guests, the AAC Board, and 2013 "Critics". Doors open at 8 pm for General ticket holders and will include a bar featuring a designer cocktail, heavy hors d'oeuvres, music, and a silent auction. During the main event Washington-area journalists and notables will battle it out in a live art competition using supplies from childhood – event guests will critique the artwork by voting for the champion while enjoying refreshments!

The night will feature an exhibition presented in partnership with the Washington Project for the Arts (WPA); OPTIONS 2013. This year will mark the fifteenth installment of the biennial survey of metro-area emerging artists and will be the first time the show has been mounted outside of the district. A silent auction, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and an open bar will complement the improvisational art competition, Critique the Critics, and ground-breaking WPA exhibition, OPTIONS 2013.
