Arpan Global Charities

AGC is a medical volunteer organization that was founded in 2005 by Dr. Sudeep Kukreja, a neonatologist at Children’s Hospital of Orange County in Orange, California. The word "Arpan" is a Hindi word, meaning "dedication" or "to give".

Arpan Global Charities is a 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions are tax deductible in accordance with IRS rules and regulations.

The organization’s goals, consisting of two key components - service and education, are as follows:

  1. Provide free medical services to the medically underserved populations of the world, regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion or nationality
  2. Provide international health education to medical students, who are the future providers of health care, through volunteer medical trips to these underserved populations
  3. Provide continuing education to international health care providers as a means towards self-sufficiency
