"The Sherry-Lehmann Suite" offers a rare opportunity to try some of the world's top wines in one place throughout the duration of the event. Wines will be accompanied by hot and cold hors d'oeuvres and private seating not available in the VIP/General tasting. Additionally, enjoy an exclusive Champagne reception.

GLOBAL SIPS  INDUSTRY EXPERTS  EPICUREAN DELIGHTS  LIVE DJ  COOL CARS

Bottlenotes presents the 4th Around the World in 80 Sips® event in Los Angeles taking place at the Petersen Automotive Museum in the Miracle Mile, August 15th, 2014. Taste wines from a wide range of countries and regions including Argentina, Australia, Brasil, California, Washington, Chile, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Portugal, South Africa and more.  Discover new favorites and ask the experts questions to boost your knowledge.  Enjoy light hors doeuvres chocolate and cheese pairings. 

All guests will receive a copy of Rock and Vine: Next Generation Changemakers in America's Wine Countrywinner of "Best Wine Photography Book" in the U.S. in the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards and a commemorative 80 Sips logo'd wine glass. 

5:30 PM - Chateau Montelena Education Seminar (limited to 30 people)  

6:30 PM - VIP Early Access/The Sherry-Lehmann Suite Access (including a Champagne reception!)

7:30 PM - General Admission Access

Early admission to enjoy crowd-free tasting of all 80+ wines from around the world plus wines exclusively available during the VIP hour. In Los Angeles only, VIP attendees can also enjoy a Champagne reception presented by Sherry-Lehmann for the first hour of the event!

VIP attendees also gain access to the new “Club Wine Sisterhood” lounge where you can relax, sip, and nibble, while creating mementos with their complimentary photo both, and more. 


THE SHERRY SUITE

A once-in-a-lifetime experience sponsored by Sherry-Lehmann Wine & Spirits.  Enjoy access to a private suite, tasting 25+ world-class wines from Champagne, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Italy and California, such as* Louis Roederer Cristal, Taittinger Comtes de Champagne, Pichon-Longueville-Lalande, Louis Jadot, Joseph Drouhin, Domaine Bouchard Pere et Fils, Domaine Ott, Tignanello, Ceretto, Dominus, Stags Leap Wine Cellars, Chateau Montelena, and other exceptional wines.  A selection of hot and cold hors d'oeuvres will be served exclusively in the Sherry Suite, and each person will receive a gift bag.  Limited to 40 people.  *wines may change slightly based on availability.


CHATEAU MONTELENA EDUCATIONAL SEMINAR

Chateau Montelena is an iconic Napa Winery winery located in Calistoga CA and known for producing high quality, classic/old world styled wines.  Founded in 1882 and resurrected by Jim Barrett in 1972, Chateau Montelena first came to fame winning the Paris Tasting of 1976 (immortalized in the film Bottle Shock).  The winery produces six wines, five of which will  be featured in the seminar, including their Cabernet Sauvignon which has earned the pedigree to be called a first growth California wine.  The seminar will be conducted by winery educators and include history, winemaking style and a sensory tasting five of the current releases.
