The primary goals for Alabama ARN's Educational Conference are:
* To increase the attendees' awareness of current trends in rehabilitation healthcare.
* To incorporate evidence based practice into rehabilitation patient and healthcare settings.
This conference is designed for nurses, therapists, social workers, consultants, any healthcare professional working in acute care, home health, long-term care, outpatient and other healthcare affiliations/settings.
Nursing contact hours provided.
Policy/Waiver of Liability:
I am willing to sign a waiver of liability at the time of registration at the conference as requested by the Lakeshore Foundation. I assume full responsibility for any personal injury to myself and further release Lakeshore Foundation and Alabama ARN for injury, loss or damage of property, arising as a result of ,y attendance/participation at the conference.

Alabama Chapter of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (AARN)
The purpose of Alabama ARN is to promote the specialty nursing organization of ARN among Alabama rehabilitation nurses. It strives to support the purpose of ARN to promote and advance professional rehabilitation nursing practice, through networking, education, and service among rehabilitation nurses in the state.
Alabama ARN is one of the smaller chapters in the ARN organization, but is considered one of its most respected and active chapters. Currently, the Alabama Chapter of ARN has approximately 55 members who live throughout the state of Alabama and work in a variety of settings. The state of Alabama has approximately 130 current Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurses (CRRNs).
