Arizona Science Center's Family Science Video Contest sponsored by K12

We are excited to announce a video contest
featuring science with Peeps®!
Does your family enjoy doing science together? Have you made slime or ooze, conducted crazy experiments, or had a blast exploring how things work?
Then this is the contest for you!
If you are an Arizona resident and have a child in grades Kindergarten through 12, you qualify to participate!
The top three favorite family videos will each win:
· A Family Membership to Arizona Science Center
· Your video shown at Arizona Science Center (May 28-31, 2011)
· Your video posted online at azscience.org and on Arizona Science Center’s YouTube channel and Facebook page
You and your family are challenged to create an experiment or activity featuring Peeps® as your main ingredient and film it – it’s that simple! Please be sure to narrate your experiment or activity. You are free to use any other ingredients or equipment that you wish.
Your video should be no longer than four minutes; filmed at 4K or 720 x 480 resolution. Please upload your video to http://tinypic.com/ and copy the URL for email.
Please register above; don't forget to provide us the tinypic URL for your video.
Submission and Judging
Your video must be submitted no later than May 13, 2011 11:50 p.m. to be accepted.
Video submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges, and will be based on the following three categories:
· Accurate scientific content
· Presentation quality
The panel of judges selects the top 10 entries. These videos be featured on Arizona Science Center’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. From May 23-27, 2011 visitors can vote for their top three favorites on YouTube.
Announcement of the three videos with the most votes will be made on May 28, 2011 on Arizona Science Center website, YouTube channel and Facebook page.
