On Friday, October 11, 2013, Special Olympics Illinois - North Suburban Cook Area 18 will be hosting its inaugural Trivia Night fundraiser at Prairie Moon Restaurant in Evanston. This event will include a team trivia game with food and beverages provided for all players. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at the restaurant bar. The evening will also include a silent auction and raffle with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Special Olympics Illinois Area 18. This fundraiser is designed with two goals in mind: to raise money in support of over 1,600 athletes that Area 18 serves and to increase public awareness of the accomplishments and abilities of all the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois.
