Arduino & Sensors
Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (EST)
Brooklyn, United States
Learn how to get your Arduino responding to the world around it. Build your own LED thermometer or build an open door detector with the power of sensors! Project possibilities are limited only by your imagination!
- Bring in your own Arduino and the class will provide some sensors to experiment with.
- If you don't yet have an Arduino, chose the pricing option for 'with Arduino' and we'll throw in one to get started.
When you leave, you'll have a micro-controller, and sensors to play with.
Please be ready to start at 1pm! We find that you will need this time to get through the whole class. Our classes tend to sell out about a week in advance so if you're interested, you may want to sign up early. Please bring a laptop with the Arduino environment and FTDI drivers preinstalled on it. It's available at http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Software.
The class will be taught by NYC Resistor member Miria Grunick.
