March 29th is Arduino’s ninth anniversary which we will be celebrating together with the rest of the world by hosting the local Arduino Day. Since the first birthday of Arduino Verkstad is just a couple of days later, on April 4th, we will kill two birds with one stone and celebrate this on Arduino Day as well!
Arduino Verkstad will host activities in Fabriken, the makerspace located at Stpln where we have our office. Throughout the day you can join us for:
- Intro to Arduino: lecture/demo (13.00)
- Creative workshops: Robot building, light installation, automatic gift boxes (all day)
- Show and tell – bring your own (Arduino) project and show off! (all day)
- Contest: make the best Arduino celebrating dessert!
We will also have tasty treats, on-air hangout with the other Arduino offices, and you can also take a closer look at our 3D printers and lasercutter works.
Attendance is for free, but we will charge for some materials.
Come join us!

Arduino Verkstad AB is the Swedish office for Arduino. Its mission is creating new Arduino reference designs, make research about technology and society, and help developing the local community of makers.
Verkstad (like we like to call it) is located at STPLN, a cultural center in Malmo. It is by the best nordic open-air skatepark and counts with a FabLab that Arduino helps maintaining. You can find us at:
