How do you go beyond the blinkie? This class teaches how to drive meters, DC motors and stepper motors using Ohm's Law and transistor circuits. This is a hands-on class, so bring your laptop, Arduino and breadboard!
The Arduino platform is an amazing way to learn more about electronics or to bring your latest idea to life. Students need to have attended Intro to Arduino at the lab, or have a comfortable grasp of arduino basics.
You will learn all about ohm's law with multimeters, motors, and stepper motors.
Members - $40 (Includes class hardware pack, does not include Arduino or Breadboard)
Non-Members - $50 (Includes class hardware pack, does not include Arduino or Breadboard)
Optional Arduino Uno and Breadboard - $35
Please Note: A personal laptop will be required to participate. If you do not purchase the Arduino Uno and Breadboard Kit, you will need to bring Arduino hardware to participate.
Required hardware: Arduino or Arduino-compatible board, USB cable, solderless breadboard, jumper wires. If your Arduino board is not-usb powered, please bring a small power supply.
