Meeting of the Broadcasting Board of Governors - April 11, 2013, 12:30 PM
An open meeting of the Broadcasting Board of Governors will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at BBG Headquarters in Washington. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m.
The agenda includes updates on programming initiatives and development from VOA, OCB, MBN, RFA, and RFE/RL, as well as a report from the IBB Director. The board will also receive updates from the Governance and the Strategy & Budget Committees.
The public may attend the open portion of this meeting as seating allows, and there will be an opportunity for public comment. Members of the public wishing to attend in person must register by noon on April 10. The meeting will also be available for public observation via streamed webcast, both live and on-demand, at bbg.gov.

The Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) encompasses all U.S. civilian international media, including the Voice of America (VOA), Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL), Radio Free Asia (RFA), Radio and TV Martí, the Middle East Broadcasting Networks (MBN)—Radio Sawa and Alhurra Television and the International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB).
