John Holman, Director, Pacific, U.S Commercial Service, U.S. Department of Commerce will review his agency’s mission and programs designed to support U.S. companies, located in most foreign capitals and the multi-lateral banks (ADB, WB, etc). He will describe the Hawaii Pacific Export Council’s (HPEC) new grant funding to help you grow your global business in 2012.
Ryo Nakamoto, P.E., Chief, Military Integration Division Directorate of Programs, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pacific Ocean Division oversees the program execution of the $3.4B Military and Host Nation Construction Programs throughout the Pacific Ocean Division and will provide information about upcoming design and construction opportunities for US firms in U.S. Army Corps of Engineers projects, primarily in Japan and Korea.
Jim Lyon, P.E., LEED AP, President, LYONhas been steadily increasing his firm’s international market share; enabling LYON to grow steadily despite the tumultuous domestic economy. He will share the opportunities, rewards and lessons learned in the Pacific, Asia and most recently, the Middle East.

Parking: Enter Pioneer Plaza Parking Garage off Merchant Street (Parking will be $6 for 2 hours with validation). Pay for validation at registration desk on the day of the event - cash/check only for validation. $2.75 each for 1/2 hour thereafter payable to the booth attendant. Parking is also available at Harbor Court Municipal Parking.

The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) was created in 1973 by a small group of professional services firm leaders who recognized the need to sharpen skills, pool resources, and work together to create business opportunities. The mission of SMPS is to advocate for, educate, and connect leaders in the building industry.
