The employment workshop will consist of a classroom session beginning an hour and a half prior to the start at the Hiring Our Heroes hiring fair followed by one-on-one coaching sessions with all pre-registered participants. During the employment workshop University of Phoenix will demonstrate the Phoenix Career Services TM suite of tools such as the Career Interest Profiler, Job Market Research Tool and financial planning tool. Coaching sessions focus on resume building, resume writing, and interviewing techniques for all job-seeking veterans’, active-duty service member participants, and military spouses.
Interested candidates must complete this free electronic pre-registration in order to participate. A maximum of 50 participants will be accepted for the full workshop. Once the pre-registered candidates have had their coaching sessions, the opportunity will be available for “walk-ins” to have a coaching session through the end of the fair.
