App Dev. Hack Day @New Relic
Saturday, July 27, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (PDT)
San Francisco, CA
~ App Dev. Hack Day ~
Do you have Java/Android experience? Would you like to help develop StudiCafe, an app dreamed up by a team of high school girls as part of the nonprofit Technovation program? Come to the App Dev. Hack Day this Saturday!
StudiCafe is an app that helps students study for AP science exams through a virtual "coffee shop" interface. Users can take quizzes and practice with flashcards to hone their skills in chemistry, biology, physics and environmental science. All the graphics are finished, but we need help piecing them together in the app and creating an architecture for the screens. If you have any Android programming experience, we would love for you to join our team as we hack StudiCafe.
Food and refreshments will be provided during the day, with a happy hour at 5 pm to celebrate our hard work. Join us!

When & Where
Technovation is the global technology entrprenuership program for girls.
Through Technovation, young women from all over the world identify and solve problems in their local communities by developing mobile app prototypes and business plans. They work in collaboration with local or long-distance mentors to research, design, code, and pitch their apps to prospective investors.
Technovation is a program of Iridescent, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
