Apache Hadoop Hackathon
Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (PDT)
Let's work together to burn down the remaining blockers for the 0.22 release and to forward-port the work that's been done in the 0.20.x branches into trunk.
There are two locations for this Hackathon: San Francisco and Palo Alto. See below for the address of each location.
We'll go from 10 am until 6 pm. As a reminder, the Bay Area HUG will be at the Yahoo! offices in Sunnyvale immediately following this event.
We're particularly interested in seeing new contributors at this event. If you're new to Hadoop development but want to get your first patch into trunk, there will be Apache Hadoop PMC members at both locations present to help you come up to speed on the code and to coach you through the patch submission process.
