Join Academy of Friends as we announce our 2015 Gala Theme and 2015 HIV/AIDS Services Beneficiary Agencies for an evening of fun at The Bubble Lounge on Wednesday, October 22nd from 6PM - 8:30PM.
The Academy of Friends Board of Directors invites you to join us on Wednesday, October 22nd, 6:00PM - 8:30PM at The Bubble Lounge, 714 Montgomery Street, San Francisco for the reveal of our 2015 Gala Theme and to meet our 2015 HIV/AIDS Beneficiary Agencies.
The doors open at 6:00PM and we will start with complimentary adult beverages and some delicious appetizers while we mix and mingle. The Bubble Lounge will be offering special cocktails and prices for the evening at their full bar. If you love Bubbles... their selection is incredible, too!
The Bubble Lounge will be closing for a complete remodel in November, so you'll definitely want to be here to see the "before" and come back for the "after" when they reopen next year!
The event is free for our current sponsors (individual and corporate) and for our beneficiary representatives. We kindly ask that all guests R.S.V.P and that non-sponsors contribute a $20 donation either in advance, or at the door. The appetizers are complimentary and we will have several fabulous door prizes that you can win during the evening just for joining us. If you would like to become a sponsor please click this link to donate online http://academyoffriends.org/html/getinvolved_join_donate.htm, give us a call at (415) 995-9890 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
When & Where
Academy of Friends
Academy of Friends has been in existence and evolving for 35 years. Soon after the onset of the HIV epidemic, we dedicated ourselves to the mission of working to ease the burden of this disease through the raising of funds in support of direct care for those with HIV/AIDS and educational programs to prevent infection. As the pandemic grew, thus did our scope; to help “…where the need is greatest, until the crisis has passed.” Through our annual Academy Awards Night Gala, we have raised almost $8.7 million to support more than 73 HIV/AIDS service organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area. Please join us and make a difference.
