In this workshop, participants will learn how primitive concepts of wireless technology like The Gamble House's Annunciator paved the way for modern technologies, such as WiFi signals. After touring the house and exploring The Gamble House’s Annunciator, participants will build their own doorbell complete with electromagnetic circuit. Once the doorbells are made, Chris & Raphael will then explain how this primitive concept of wireless technology was then translated to modern day WiFi signals and other protocols such as Open Sound Control (OSC).
Workshop led by Raphael Arar and Chris Weisbart
