Texas historian Donaly E. Brice, author of The Great Comanche Raid and Cullen Montgomery Baker, Reconstruction Desperado and The Governor's Hounds, a resident of Lockhart, will share some little known facts about his town's former resident, Susanna Dickinson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Susanna_Dickinson) , the only Anglo adult survivor of the Alamo. The presentation will be followed by "The Ballad of Susanna Dickinson" performed by songwriter-musician Fletcher Clark, also living in Lockhart, who produces and hosts the monthly series Evenings with the Songwriter (http://eveningswithsongwriter.com) at Lockhart's Dr. Eugene Clark Library.

Established to promote appreciation for the their legacies and preserve the Austin historic homes of short-story writer O. Henry (William S. Porter) and Joseph and Susanna Dickinson, only anglo adult survivor of the battle of the Alamo. We sponsor the Annual Pun-Off World Championships every May.
