6PM Award Announcement & Presentations

7-8:30PM Reception

Please join us for the festivities as we officially announce and celebrate the 2013 Graham Foundation Grants to Individuals. The evening will feature presentations by new grantees and comments from special guests Stanley Tigerman, who received his first Graham grant in 1965, and Hamza Walker, President of the Graham Foundation Board of Trustees and Director of Education and Associate Curator at The Renaissance Society. The program will be followed by a reception in the Madlener House galleries and sculpture garden.

This year, over $500,000 will be awarded to local, national, and international individual grantees whose projects foster the development and exchange of diverse and challenging ideas about architecture and its role in the arts, culture, and society. The grants will provide direct support to 60 projects, including publications, exhibitions, films, new media initiatives, research, and other programs that feature new and challenging ideas in architecture.
