Ani is teaching her first ever Level 1 Raw Food Home Chef Certification Course from March 15-17, 2013. Tuition includes a certificate of completion, meals from popular local raw food restaurants, plus a signed copy of “Ani’s Raw Food Essentials”. This will be a small, intimate group with limited space and will fill up quickly!

Ani’s exclusive Level 1 Certification Course will take you from an enthusiastic novice to a practical home chef level in just 3 days. Over the course of the weekend, we’ll cover essentials like stocking the raw kitchen, shopping, blending, food processing, basic sauces, wraps, rolls, pastas, and decadant desserts. By the end of the course on Sunday at 2pm, you’ll have confidence in the kitchen and be ready to share your new skills with family and friends. Become a home chef, or use this Level 1 Course to kick-start your raw food business or career!

Ani will be teaching her upper level Mastery Courses beginning in June 2013. In these courses the focus will be on helping you launch your own successful raw food business. Level 1 is a prerequisite for upper level courses.

Course Location

Ideally situated on beautiful Santa Monica Coast with views of the Pacific Ocean & the Santa Monica Pier, the Shore Hotel is a new luxury boutique hotel. First in sustainability among Santa Monica luxury hotels and the only newly LEED certified hotel in Santa Monica, the Shore Hotel’s resort-like property is ideal for environmentally-conscious folks who don’t want to sacrifice a luxurious experience.

Travel Recommendations

The Shore Hotel
Although your hotel stay, meals, snacks, and drinks are not included in the cost of the course, lodging at the Shore Hotel is recommended due to the superb location of the hotel.  You will be within walking distance to Juliano’s Raw, the 3rd Street Promenade and the Santa Monica Pier, among other hot spots.  When booking online, write in the code AniPhyo in the “Corporate/Promotion” box and receive a discounted room rate of $229 (+ tax) per night.  If you are interested in sharing a room with a fellow student to cut your hotel cost in half, email Heather & Thea at DelmarEventsCompany@gmail.com and they will work to help you set this up.

Although airport transportation is not included in the cost of the course, it is recommended that you book online with Super Shuttle.  The cost of a round-trip van pickup/drop off from LAX to the Shore Hotel is $28 if you book online.  Be advised this is a shared van, so you may be making a few stops along the way. Please note
- Sunday March 17th is the LA Marathon.  Please do not wait to book your flight & reserve your hotel as costs may spike closer to the date.
- There is plenty to see and do in Santa Monica within walking distance of the Shore Hotel, so bring your walking shoes.
- Dress for the course is casual.  Be prepared with light layers for each day because it can get a tad chilly in Southern California near the Ocean.
