Experience an evening of natural beauty and culinary innovation at Animal Farm Center, a certified-organic farm in Cat Spring, Texas.
Second in a series of farm dinners hosted by the region's top chefs, this event will feature the creations of Director of Culinary Operations Chef Philip Speer, a James Beard semi-finalist, and Chef de Cuisine Kaz Edwards, both of Uchi and Uchiko.
You will get a chance to learn about sustainable agriculture, the importance of locally-sourced organic foods as well as a tour of Animal Farm Center – one of the area's most reputable farms supplying Sorrel Bistro, Haven, Roots Bistro and many other top Houston restaurants.
On November 24th from 2 to 10pm, the event kicks off with a poolside hors d'oeuvres and cocktails reception featuring a garden of native plants and hand-built biomorphic structures, followed by a tour of Animal Farm, and concludes with an intimate outdoor 10 course dinner and discussion by the chefs, along with wine pairings by Adele Corigan of 13 Celcius.
