Anderson Evening is a unique opportunity to meet the newest group of MBA students while on their Fall career treks, reconnect with fellow alumni and hear from a panel of alumni and faculty. Hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served.


Srinivas Ananth '11

Srini is currently a Strategic Deals Manager at Intel where he leads partnerships with System Integrators in the Internet-of-Things (IOT) group. Since graduating from Anderson in 2011, Srini has held a number of diverse operational roles including Product Marketing, Business Development and Venture Investing as part of the Accelerated Leadership Program. At Anderson, Srini served as VP of Business Development for HTBA, Mentor for Technology Assessment Group (TAG) Program, Anderson Career Coach and Admissions Interviewer. Prior to MBA, Srini held a number of product development and management roles at Texas Instruments.

Daisy Chen '12

Daisy is currently a Tech Finance Leader at Intuit. She partners with the central R&D Platform and Innovation teams on Intuit's journey to securely move to the cloud, transform from a desktop business to SaaS offerings, and expand globally. She is also an Innovation Catalyst at Intuit - facilitating and coaching teams on design thinking.

Daisy graduated from Anderson in 2012 with an Easton Technology Leadership Certificate. At Anderson, she was an ACT Coach and served as the MCA VP of Professional Affairs. After Anderson, she joined Intel as a Strategic Financial Analyst, supporting the $200M+ Consumer Channel Marketing group. Prior to Anderson, Daisy was a design engineer in the aerospace industry. She has a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois.

David Huynh '12

Dave Huynh, is the Head of Ad Product at Flipboard, a personal news and content reader app for iOS, Android, and web with over 80 million monthly active users. Dave joined Flipboard immediately after Anderson in 2012 as a product manager focused on publishers and advertising. As Flipboard grew from 1 to 80 million MAUs, Dave helped scale the advertising product and platform into a multi-million dollar business. Dave and Flipboard were recently featured in Fast Company, Forbes, Fortune, AdAge, TechCrunch, and VentureBeat for their innovative approach to the next generation of ad targeting. While at Anderson, Dave focused on Marketing and was president of the HTBA.

Moderator: About Professor Guillaume Roels

Professor Roels is an Associate Professor at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. His research interests are in supply chain management and in operations management in knowledge-based services.

In his research, Professor Roels has characterized the worst-case performance of supply chains with limited demand information and uncoordinated decision-making. His findings have led to the development of principles for making robust supply chain decisions, such as contracting, capacity investment, capacity allocation, and pricing. Read more...
