90 Seconds or Less:
The Power of Short-form Content
on the Web

Presented by MSN and the New York Television Festival

With seemingly limitless options for the online video consumer, advertisers and platform programmers are angling to hook viewers with short, dynamic content -- and they're looking for creators with a knack for delivering big stories in small packages. This panel event will explore the trend of bite-sized content and provide audience members with insight and advice from storytellers that have effectively harnessed the short-form movement. Whether you're producing traditional TV-length content or have an idea for a great new web series, this panel will provide perspective and tips on maximizing your project's potential by minimizing its footprint. When it comes to micro-episodes, only the short survive.

Event is free to attend and RSVP is required.

He achieved worldwide media attention for his video series in which he lived and slept in an IKEA store in Paramus, New Jersey, for an entire week. Mark made headlines again with a video in which he was physically carried 9.4 miles in Manhattan by 155 individuals, disproving the myth that New Yorkers are rude. He successfully brought a goat into the Apple Store to illustrate that they will allow customers to do practically anything. And he conducted a series of "Celebrity Sleepovers" in which he saved money on a long trip to L.A. by convincing stars to let him crash at their place.Mark watched 252 movies on Netflix streaming in one month, a feat no one had ever previously achieved, resulting in the company CEO, Reed Hastings flying Mark out to its Los Gatos, CA, headquarters and declaring it "Mark Malkoff Day" at Netflix. Recently, Mark hosted "The Bill Murray Show Starring Mark Malkoff," where he attempts to convince the iconic star to join him for dinner in his Queens apartment.

Mark lives in New York City with his wife Christine, and his videos live at MyDamnChannel.com/MarkMalkoff
