Marketing has changed forever. For today’s B2B sales and complex consumer purchases, 60-70 percent of a buyer’s decision-making occurs before they ever ask to be contacted. The bulk of this process occurs online, initiated via search — a phenomenon now dominated by Google’s Hummingbird algorithm. 
Many argue this buyer-controlled online sales environment is a good thing; Regardless, as a consequence marketers can no longer rely on the old the "push" model of cold calling, direct mail, and advertising. Marketers seeking top-line revenue growth must now attract and educate their audience to fill the sales pipeline. Audience-focused campaigns need to create a richer, more relevant, and personalized experience for customers. 
“Inbound Marketing” is a relatively new strategy to employ ROI-focused content, or media that directly speaks to and engages buyers. Very quickly, Inbound methods have proven to increase the pipeline of qualified leads and reduce the cost per lead. Inbound has so altered the economics of lead generation that 58% of B2B marketers plan to increase their content marketing budget over the next 12 months.* And a recent survey shows that on average, 30% of B2B marketing budgets are now allocated to content marketing. As an early adopter of inbound marketing (long before the term was coined), he introduced blogging, analytics, pay-for-performance and Web content management to a wide range of B2B financial services,professional services and high tech clients.

Keith is responsible for taking Austin Lawrence's growing Inbound Marketing practice to the next level. The core of his effort is to drive the agency's own inbound marketing campaign and provide strategic guidance to prospective agency clients on how Inbound Marketing might benefit them. He is a technology marketing and business development professional with both large and small company experience and has launched several start-ups.

As an incubator focused on being CT’s premiere resource for community-based Innovation, The SIC team is always on the lookout of ways to engage members of our community. We want to be the resource where people go when they have a question about technology, careers, business, strategy, etc. We are here to help the tech and startup community where we work and live and to participate in global thought leadership communities centered around new technology and business models.

In our work with Sikorsky, we are driving what we consider an important opportunity for smaller businesses to gain access to one of the worlds most demanding engineering organizations.  We enjoy our role as recruiter of businesses to apply for the Sikorsky Entrepreneurial Challenge.  And we really love coaching the finalists.

Our events are focused on delivering help and experise in key areas of business. We've hosted national leaders like Steve Hafner of Kayak, VCs including Marc Michel, Skyler Fernandes, and David Teten and many many others.  

In the classroom setting, we now focus on a regular set of classes around fundimental modern skills including LinkedIn for personal and business use, Facebook ad campaigns, Branding, Strategy, etc.  Our goal is to provide a platform for professionals to learn and grow around skills that are critial, in a high-impact format that can't be matched by online courses or a traditional university.
