If you’ve got a favorite holiday dish that hails from outside the United States, bring some along, share with fellow cooking enthusiasts, and taste what Mealku (a new food-sharing cooperative) is all about. The team from Mealku will be on hand to celebrate holiday food traditions from around the world while also spreading the word about Mealku’s delicious mission to share wholesome, home-cooked dishes within its community. Members of this local cooperative swap meals that cover a wide range of ethnic flavors and health-supportive cuisines while revitalizing the true idea of community, common interests, and reciprocity. Come learn more about this exciting new venture, and get inspired to cook and share!
Admission is free, but registration is required. Please note that this is a food-sharing event—all participants should bring a prepared dish.
When & Where
Mealku is a homemade food sharing cooperative in which home cooks prepare and share homemade food within their immediate community. The Mealku mission is to make wholesome, non processed, locally sourced food as easy and accessible and healthy as possible; while revitalizing the true idea of community, common interests and reciprocity.
