7:15 PM   Reading followed by Q&A and Book signing

Brenda Hillman

Brenda Hillman, Olivia C. Filippi professor of poetry at Saint Mary’s College, is the author of many books, including “Seasonal Works with Letters on Fire”.  She is an activist for social and environmental justice.


 Robert Hass

Photo of Robert Hass

Robert Hass, former U.S. poet laureate, is the winner of the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry and professor of poetry and poetics at UC Berkeley. In the mid-1990s, Hass co-founded the River of Words organization, which provides tools for teaching ecoliteracy to young students through multidisciplinary, interactive curricula.
