Join Bourbon Historian Mike Veach as he hosts a series combining Porcini’s world-famous food and a premium bourbon tasting. Bourbon and Food 5

Enjoy a “Chef’s Whim” three-course meal with bourbon tastings and discussion! This series of events – June 24th, July 15th, August 12th & September 2nd – will match each gourmet meal with specific bourbons selected my Mike Veach, while discussion topics ranging from the the history of bourbon to matching foods and bourbons. Mike is a member of the Bourbon Hall of Fame and author of Kentucky Bourbon History: An American Heritage.

Each date will include different flights of bourbon for tasting and discussion, as well as different stories and insights into the history, production, and nuances of Kentucky’s most famous beverage!

Each event will take place at Porcini, 2730 Frankfort Ave, Louisville, KY 40206. Each Dinner & Tasting is limited to 40 people, with a cost of $75. Participants of the event on July 15th will have a first right of refusal to purchase tickets to the next event on August 12th!
