Event Details

From Doom and Wizardry in the 80’s to Ravenwood Fair and The Walking Dead in this decade, John Romero and Brenda Romero (formerly Brathwaite) have designed close to two hundred games separately and together and helped shape the industry. They have designed for numerous consoles, Apple IIe, PC, Facebook, and mobile over their careers across many different game genres. A detailed list of their games and their bios can be found at romero.com.

RIT’s MAGIC Center and School of Interactive Games and Media, in partnership with The Strong’s International Center for the History of Electronic Games, are pleased to be able to introduce you to them. John and Brenda will briefly share what’s currently on their minds and the state of the industry and then address your questions from the audience.
