Please join us for a fun-filled evening featuring the artwork of the talented autistic artist Kevin Hosseini and live music by the award winning composer & pianist Christine Beard Brown.
Autistic artist Kevin Hosseini, 18, began painting at 9 years old. He loves to paint landscapes, cities and animals. His painting, "Bus or Cycle" was displayed at the Smithsonian Institute in 2012 and is currently on exhibit at the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg Russia. Many of Kevin's paintings, including the "Red Cow", will be for sale at the event. Kevin's paintings start at $50.
Christine Beard Brown grew up in Colorado, earning a business degree from the University of Colorado. She discovered her love for the piano at an early age, taking piano lessons and accompanying vocal groups at school. Christine has released several CDs, including a Christmas CD and a collection of children's songs. A sorority sister of Hannelore Doty and Linda Anderson, Christine will be performing throughout the evening. She is generously donating a portion of CD sales to Celebrate Autism.
About Celebrate Autism:
Celebrate Autism was founded by Linda & Jenny Anderson, mother and sister of Brent Anderson, a young adult with autism. Celebrate Autism is a conduit for young adults with autism to find more opportunities for success. We hope that by encouraging these individuals to pursue their interests, discover their talents and strengths and earn income, we can change the conversation about autism, away from a cause and a cure and onto those living with autism today.
