Just Food is proud to partner with Whole Foods Market for this series of cooking demonstrations and tastings.
Indian cuisine is strong, deep, and complex—one that does not shy away from powerful, well-rounded flavors. Explore the colors and aromas of India with local chef-instructor Richard LaMarita, and learn the art of using spices effectively when preparing a sumptuous meal in this demonstration and tasting workshop… all while supporting one of our favorite food-advocacy nonprofits.
On the Menu:
Banana-Date Lassi; Potato Paratha with Tamarind Chutney; Salmon Poached in Coconut Milk; Okra & Tomato Curry; Red Lentil Dahl with Russian Kale; Roast Peaches with Cardamom & Sweet Panir.
Instructor: Richard LaMarita, Chef Instructor, Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts
