Celebrate the exciting partnership between Wayne State University Press and The Meijer Foundation as they present an evening with its authors in the Made In Michigan Writers Series, the state’s only publishing imprint devoted to Michigan-based poets and creative writers.  Connect and mingle with renowned poets and writers on our first Grand Rapids stop via the historic Made in Michigan Writers Bus Tour.  Hear keynote readings from two of the Press’s most lauded authors, Bonnie Jo Campbell and Gloria Whelan.

Young or old, Wayne alum or aspiring poet, there’s no better way to celebrate Lit in the Mitt!

The Made in Michigan Writers Series Bus Tour is sponsored by The Meijer Foundation, Wayne State University Alumni Association, Historical Society of Michigan, Michigan Women’s Historical Center & Hall of Fame, 826Michigan, The Peacock Room/Emerald, Michigan Council for the Arts & Cultural Affairs, The National Endowment for the Arts, and the Michigan Humanities Council (an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities)
